The name 'Alexandroid' resonates loudly in every electronically enlightened ear. It's an anti-lounge product. A high-quality cocktail of techno, noise, minimalism, psychedelia, and industrial. The founders of 'Alexandroid' - Andrey and Alexander, natives of Riga. Under the names: Android and Alex, respectively, they created the eponymous music project after moving to St. Petersburg. They traveled a lot separately, and every time they met, combining their impressions, materials, and enthusiasm to create compositions. Their track 'Olainfarm' was successfully aired in Germany on the radio, holding the 2nd position on the chart on myownmusic.com for over a month. In 1995, the first release of the blend 'Alexandroid' was released on vinyl in Austria on the label 'Syntactic'. They started performing in Moscow, Riga, and St. Petersburg, taking part in prestigious festivals and frequently touring Europe. The 'Alexandroid' brand has released 5 full-length albums. The latest one, 'False Starts,' was released on August 23. At the concert at Club '16 Tons' on October 7, Android will be performing with singer Kristi and a guitarist. The program will predominantly feature compositions from the new album 'False Starts.'
