The New York band Blondie, which occupied a niche at the intersection of punk and new wave in the late '70s, gained a reputation as one of the most interesting and commercially successful bands of their generation. Notably, Blondie was least inclined to limit themselves to the framework of any one direction. From punk, they effortlessly transitioned to rock and, after riding the wave of new wave, easily took on reggae or disco.
The Moscow concert of Blondie will take place as part of the tour dedicated to the thirtieth anniversary of the release of Parallel Lines – the band's most successful album, which holds a prestigious 140th place in the Top 500 greatest albums of all time according to American magazine Rolling Stone.
In addition to the large concert tour, especially for the anniversary of Parallel Lines, the band released a reissue of the cult album, which includes four bonus tracks, as well as a DVD with three music videos and a live performance of Blondie on the famous TV show Tops of the Pops.
Thus, on July 9, B1 Maximum club – the only concert of Blondie in the capital. Start at 20:00.
