Concert of Rockets, from the USSR to Apelsin

On September 11, 2004, the Apelsin club will open its doors to true fans of electronic music. As part of the opening of the 2004/2005 music and dance season, with the support of Free Sound Lab, the club prepares a concert by the Rockets group. The Rockets team, which appeared in the mid-80s on the Russian music scene, is an Italo-French project consisting mainly of: Christian Le Bartz (vocals), 'Little' Gerard L'Her (bass and vocals), Alain Maratrat (guitar and vocals), Fabrice Quagliotti (keyboards), Alain Groetzinger (drums and percussion), and Claude Lemoine as the producer, formed in 1976 and existed in the original lineup until 1982. In 1984, vocalist Sal Solo joined ROCKETS. In 2003, a new album "DON'T STOP" was released in an updated lineup. The discography of the group includes: Rockets 1976, On the Road Again 1978, Plasteroid 1979, Galaxy 1980, P3.14 1981, Visitors 1981, Atomic 1982, Imperception 1984, One-Way 1985 live, 1980 another Future, 1992 remix, Don't Stop 2003. The musical community of the USSR era well remembers Rockets – it's the cosmic technologies of sound, straightforward and hard guitar riffs, a reliably predictable rhythmic pattern, pure vocals, periodically traditionally subjected to processing by the ultra-modern vocoder. It's live guitars and samples, so advanced that they can also be called live. The same musical eclecticism. The same audio kitchen in the fusion style. Modern Rockets - it's Underworld, Faithless, Groove Armada, and Ramstein in one bottle. After the concert, DJs Helga, Spirit, Slava-Finist, Fish, and Elka will continue the dance festivity. A special laser show, dance and video performances will add color to the event.
