King of Breaks Adam Freeland is Coming to Moscow

Adam Freeland is the man who has brought breakbeat to the forefront of the dance music world. Once a humble breaks scene, it suddenly attracted the attention of all global media, and "broken rhythms" became heralded as the most progressive sound of Britain. For introducing innovative sounds, the press awarded Adam with the title "King of Breaks" and secured his status as a "super star DJ".
Today, Adam is a resident of the most prestigious club in the world, Fabric. Thanks to his ambiguous, and thus unique sound, Freeland allows himself to perform at both Friday (breaks DJs) and Saturday (house DJs) parties. "I wouldn't say I play just house or, on the contrary, just breakbeat. Both these directions are a mix of many other musical styles. I believe that saying 'here it is, my sound' immediately limits you in future development, getting stuck on one. I listen to a lot of different music, take what I like and use it in my mixes. Even if sometimes it’s not electronic music, the main thing here is to trust your inner feelings." Adam's feelings clearly do not fail him; Fabric's house DJs, known for their conservative tastes, welcome the breakbeat pioneer with open arms. It is evident from the superstars' words that like any creator, Freeland does not wish to confine himself to stylistic limitations or newspaper clichés. Not afraid of experiments, he remains wholly devoted to music, drawing from it the very best. It is no coincidence that "heavyweights" Carl Cox and Sasha consider Freeland personally responsible for instilling their love for breakbeat.
