"Corporation of Happiness" is the book of the legendary promoter, founder of the first night club in Russia "Tunnel," and one of the pioneers of the Russian club movement, Andrey Haas.
The book is named after the union of creative forces of the "Corporation of Happiness," whose participants shaped the club culture in the mid-nineties. "Dance Floor" on Fontanka 145. It was here that the first DJs in Russia appeared - initially invited from other countries, and later homegrown ones. For a whole five years, the club dictated the music trend, "cultivating" professional DJs and was a source of information about all the current trends in modern electronic music. Then came "Mama," "Decadence," "Metro," "Griboedov," large-scale open-airs, DJ Parade, "MayDay," and much more. Among the book's heroes are many well-known figures and informal celebrities of St. Petersburg who belonged to the world of art and music: Timur Novikov, Georgiy Guriyanov, Alexey Haas, Juris Lesnik, "New Composers," Vlad Mamyshev Monroe, Oleg Nazarov, Denis Oding, Olga Tobrelyuts, Sergey Bugaev, and many others.
