Martinez's Cosmic Cocktail of Tech House

Martinez, whose real name is Martin Swanstein, will perform at In Time club on Saturday. Martin was born in 1981 and grew up in southern Sweden, starting to experiment with electronic music at a very young age. He honed his skills in Stockholm and after moving to the more musically open-minded capital of Denmark - Copenhagen, he was able to invest even more energy and effort into his passion. This helped him sign a contract with the Guidance label, releasing three records. In 2003, Martinez succumbed to the temptation to sophisticate his sound and make house music more experimental by using various samples and deep electro bass sounds. The result was what he himself called 'Cosmic House' - a cosmic cocktail of tech house with atmospheric, vibrant, and memorable melodies. Martinez launched his own label, Out of Orbit, releasing his own works and releases from friends such as Zvukbroda, Jussi Pekka, and the already superstar - Trentemoller. A culmination of his efforts was the release of the full-length album Martinez - 'Internal Space'. One of the freshest releases from his label is the mysterious character Ibn Al Khimiya and his EP 'Rendezvouz At Night'. The story continues. In February 2006, the first compilation of the label's artists' works in the form of a DJ mix by Martinez was released on Audiomatique, including his exclusive track. Numerous music radio stations in London, Paris, Berlin, and other European capitals broadcasted his mixes. His refined playing technique and impeccable taste earned him a reputation as an excellent DJ. Martinez is a sought-after guest at parties in the best clubs across Europe.
