Kraftwerk to Record an Album

One of the members of the electronic group Kraftwerk, Ralf Hütter, announced that the German collective plans to start working on a new album. After completing their festival tour and returning to Düsseldorf, Kraftwerk will lock themselves in the studio to begin working on new compositions. What the concept of the new material will be is still unknown even to the musicians themselves, but Hütter is sure it will be something progressive.

The bandleader also hinted that a book dedicated to the history of Kraftwerk may soon be released, incorporating various archival materials accumulated over the years. In early October, fans of the collective were delighted by news of the release of eight remastered albums by Kraftwerk. Corresponding vinyl copies will be available in November.
