On December 19, in St. Petersburg, the exhibition by Ilya Trushevsky "Points of Light" will open in the premises of the former power plant - the Power Station of the 'Red Banner' factory. Guests of the exhibition will be offered 10 stories about the transformations of light in the industrial space of the constructivist monument from the 1920s designed by architect Erich Mendelsohn.
"Points of Light" (multimedia and kinetic objects) is the most extensive exhibition by Ilya Trushevsky to date, prepared with the participation of the creative group 'Project'. Enveloped in the darkness of the catacombs of the Power Station - the birthplace and transformation of light. Seven stories about the metamorphoses of light emerge on black cast geometric objects located in the dark labyrinth of the basement premises. Six eleven-meter steel vibrating tubes hang from the ceiling of the huge boiler room.
