Godfather of progressive house John Digweed in Moscow and St. Petersburg

John Digweed is a key figure in the world of dance music. Together with his long-time friend, DJ Sasha, he is the inventor of the popular style progressive house. John first got behind the decks at the age of 13. His first fans were the visitors of a small bar in the town of Hastings. However, Digweed was not satisfied with being a star of provincial bars. He soon moved to London, where he met Jeff Oakes, a promoter of the club Renaissance. Jeff saw a star in the young DJ and offered John to play at Renaissance parties. Jeff wasn't wrong - the first compilation he mixed for the club broke popularity records. Then John and Sasha moved to America, where they were residents at the famous New York club The Twilo for almost two and a half years. Upon returning to London, John Digweed founded his own company, Bedrock. Today, Bedrock is a huge corporation that includes a record label and a promo group responsible for organizing signature parties. As a musician, John Digweed has released over twenty of his own tracks, one of which, "For What You Dream Of," became an unofficial anthem of clubbers worldwide and was featured in the soundtrack of the movie Trainspotting. Today, John Digweed is one of the most sought-after DJs on the planet. For six years now, he has consistently been in the top ten most popular DJs in the world. Magazines MixMag, DJ Magazine, and Muzik consider him the best DJ in the world. The party with John Digweed will take place on October 24, 2003, in Moscow at The Warehouse, located at 1/6 Skladochnaya Street, and in St. Petersburg on October 25, 2003, at the Cadet Hall (Universitetskaya Embankment, 13). On October 24, Party Buses will run from the "Savelovskaya" metro station and will take all willing directly to The Warehouse.
