Who Made Whom? The answer has been found!

Suzy Wong Bar presents WhoMadeWho - a rock trio from Copenhagen who decided to come up with their own personal musical style - “a new special disco”, and in the shortest possible time made the entire world underground dance to it. "WhoMadeWhom?" - the answer to such a categorical question in the name of the group has been found! WhoMadeWho profess a style of accidental shocking. At the same time, their talented tomfoolery sounds like real innovation. WMW are not a chord-rock band, nor can they be called electro-punkers. With the image of a “cheerful party,” the trio waltzes on the subtle stylistic junctures of funk, rock, Italo-disco, and instead of the already familiar punk, pop prevails. The majority of music media hastened to note the genre freshness of WMW's sound; NME does not skimp on compliments and sees unusual charisma in the group's “magnificent disco-funk.”
In June 2005, the team released their debut album on the German label Gomma, which also includes Headman, Mocky, Munk and Kamerakino (Nick McCarthy's previous band from Franz Ferdinand). "Their debut album is top-notch fun. However, there is something even cooler - this is their live concert," says Dazed magazine about the group. The WhoMadeWho performance is a crazy combination of a rock concert, a theatrical skit and a dance floor set. In addition, this is a real show, extravagant, spectacular, sarcastic and categorically danceable. “They can make even the dead dance,” comments DJmagazine. NME magazine called their remix Kick Out The Chairs! (MUNK) - "one of the best dance tracks of the year."
Soulwax hastened to invite WhoMadeWho to their European tour. WMW managed to take part in the Sonar festival and play at rare parties held by Vice and Lodown magazines. And, of course, they became the highlight of the Gomma Showcase 2005. On the Gomma label they released Happy Girl and 2 covers for your party. “Covers” included a cover version of Satisfaction by Benni Benassi, created by the group “for fun”, but steadily approaching the status of a world club hit. In turn, the WhoMadeWho tracks were licensed by the Glimmer Twins for their new CD mix on Eskimo. 2 many DJ’s and Pete Tong followed their example.
