Layo & Bushwacka in Moscow!

On June 24, Saturday, there will be a party called "Black XS Party" featuring the legendary Layo & Bushwacka! The name of the DJ duo Layo & Bushwacka! is closely associated with the legendary London club The End and the music style Tech-House. The very existence of Layo & Bushwacka! is owed to The End. Layo Paskin, along with his friend Mr C, was at the origins of this famous club. At one of the parties, Mr C introduced Layo to his friend Matt Benjamin, nicknamed Bushwacka. The guys quickly found a common language. Their first experience of joint creativity yielded astonishing results - such strange and fun music had never been played in London before. Layo and Matt supplemented their tech-house style with blues melodies, samples from classic house hits, and even sounds of real African drums. After the release of their debut album Low Life in 1999, the duo Layo & Bushwacka! won the prestigious Ericsson Music Awards. Their second album Night Works was released on XL Records, the "home" of popular artists such as The Prodigy and Basement Jaxx. Today, the duo Layo & Bushwacka! is among the top ten most popular DJs on the planet. "Feel Closer" is the new album by Layo & Bushwacka!, released in March 2006. The eagerly awaited record features contributions from Green Velvet, Groove Armada, Tim Hutton. The tracklist for "Feel Closer" includes works with the voices of Ella Fitzgerald and the legendary Louis Armstrong. On June 24, Layo & Bushwacka! will present their new album to the Moscow public at the "Renaissance Event Club." In addition to excellent music, guests can expect mind-blowing video installations, a pyrotechnic show, and pleasant surprises from a well-known perfume brand.
