Lebedev.TV released debut album

The author of all music and lyrics on the album by Katya Chekhova ('Debut of the Year,' Record Award 2006) emerges from the shadows, releasing the debut album of his unusual project 'Lebedev.TV' on Uplifto Records. Nikolay Lebedev is a Renaissance man, capable of juggling countless projects simultaneously. Together with Sergey Pimenov and Agent Smith, Lebedev makes up the 'brain center' of the Russian dance label Uplifto. As a producer and music author, Nikolay has had a hand in all successful projects of the label, including the recording of last year's best-selling dance hit, Katya Chekhova's 'I – Robot,' which sold over 140 thousand copies. Lebedev has also produced the latest works of Tina Charles, London, and Modul.

Nikolay Lebedev's new project, the debut album 'Lebedev.TV,' has all the chances to replicate the success of Uplifto label projects. The album's symbol is the well-known RGB color model, describing the reproduction of any color by combining three primary colors. Just as different combinations of red, green, and blue give the full color palette, the merging of talents of many performers gives the album its vibrancy and versatility. The unique concept of the project allowed for the collaboration within 'Lebedev.TV' of diverse artists such as the Brit Mussa Clarke, musicians from the bands Tekhnika Molodezhi and Koioti, singer Sasha Vista, popular Moscow DJ Kiriloff, and the beauty Tina Charles.

A special guest of the 'Lebedev.TV' project is the 80s rock hero, leader of the band Kino, Viktor Tsoi. His song 'We Want to Dance' became the cornerstone of the 'Lebedev.TV' album, the foundation of the entire project. This version received approval from Viktor's son - Alexander Tsoi, and has already become the anthem of Russia's dance floors, acquiring a new electro-rock sound. The album includes three dance remixes of this hit – the original club mix by Nikolay Lebedev himself, and two alternative mixes by DJs Kiriloff and Karasy.
