The brainchild of Easy M - music author, guitarist Ilya Shapovalov (Naik Borzov, Keta, Tokyo, Machete) brought to cooperation well-known bassist and promoter Dmitry Ashman (Bravo), vocalist Dmitry Fligershule, who previously worked in the project of the popular Moscow DJ Arkady Air, keyboardist Evgeny (John) Shchigol (Guitars Stereo), and drummer Mikhail Kozodaev (Radio Chacha). But perhaps the most unusual participant and discovery of the collective is the author of the texts Evgeniya Romanova, brilliantly performing all the female parts on the album "Sleepless Weekends". Before joining Easy M, the future vocalist had no serious attitude towards music, professionally engaged in advertising creation. Work on the debut release of Easy M began in June 2011 and continued until the fall of 2012. On September 25th in Cologne at the studio "Koln im Studio", the album "Sleepless Weekends", consisting of 9 tracks, was mixed. The title track "Sleepless Weekends" is not only the main hit of Easy M, combining dance beats and gentle eroticism of disco with detached, spatial sound reminiscent of the iconic Air, but also a kind of formula for the existence of those who spend sleepless weekends on dance floors of global metropolises. "The song 'Sleepless Weekends' is about the fact that we all do the same thing every day, and it may drive us crazy and annoy us, but there are two days a week when we forget about everything and just do what we want," says Ilya Shapovalov. Soon after "Sleepless Weekends", the musicians plan to release a remix album "Every Weekend". The idea of creating "Every Weekend" came to the group naturally. From the moment Easy M members started posting songs online, they began receiving offers from DJs and musicians from different countries to remix their favorite tracks. As a result, by the time the recording of the album "Sleepless Weekends" was completed, it was decided to select the best works and release them as a separate album. The collection "Every Weekend" will have 7 tracks, including an old-school vibe disco remix "Gonna Happen" by the Italians Irregular Disco Workers, an indie dance version of the song "Snow Queen" by London DJ Kid Who, and a space disco version of "Sleepless Weekends" by producer and DJ from Spain Rayko.
