On July 17, the FortDance Live event will take place at the Gaudi club in Moscow.
The new club initiative FortDance Live has found resonance with 14 Russian DJs, each biography of whom is directly related and inseparable from the phenomenon of the festival of the same name in Kronstadt: Vladimir Trapeznikov, Fish, Spy.Der, Mike Spirit, Partyphone, Tolya Pushkin, Grad, Dukhova, Shushukin, Compass-Vrubel, Alex Meshkov, Andrey Panin, Alexander Nuzhdin, Miss Mini.
Nevertheless, the main intrigue of the summer night at Gaudi is the live performance of the central figure of French electronica, Laurent Garnier. "Standard two-hour sessions are not enough for me; like every classical work, there is real drama in my performances with a plot, development, and apotheosis. Therefore, if interrupted earlier, no one will know how it could have ended," comments the musician. Departing from the usual DJ set format, Garnier now performs with his own group of 4 musicians. The author of the epoch-making track "The man with the red face" is attracted by the possibility of live improvisation.
The unforeseen relocation of the festival from its summer residence in Kronstadt to the club space of Gaudi, which caused such a vehement reaction from dedicated FortDance fans, is a necessary measure and at the same time an important prerequisite for the development of a new story for the brand. The FortDance Live project will continue the traditions of the summer event with only one difference – on a new scale, in a new place! All else remains unchanged!
