Damian Lazarus offers his listeners a new, unique electro house for fans of night club madness, music of the future, and all sorts of new ideas. Former head of the A&R department of the 'City Rockers' label, Damian is torn between creating a new wave of musicians and playing in clubs. By the end of 2002, 'City Rockers' was recognized by many magazines as Label of the Year, and two compilations (Futurism 1 and Futurism 2), both curated by Damian, made it to many Albums of the Year lists. A major breakthrough for Damian's DJ career was an invitation to the Sonar 2002 festival, after which he started receiving offers from clubs all over the world. He has held residencies in clubs like 'DC10' (Ibiza), 'Polar TV' (Berlin), 'The Loft' (Barcelona), and '21st Century Bodyrockers' (London). In 2004, Damian launched his own label 'Crosstown Rebels', with its main goal being to support and develop the best of underground electronic music worldwide. The label showcases well-known artists such as Kiki & Silversurfer, Phonique, Hiem, Adam Sky, Frankie Flowerz, and Glimmer Twins. Recently, Damian released his first mix 'Rebel Futurism Session One', which was well-received by critics.
