Magda in Moscow

On February 4, Cicterna Hall will host a party featuring the famous DJ girl Magda and minimalist David Fine. Briefly about Magda: born in Poland, raised in Detroit, currently living in Berlin, she is one of the most sought-after female DJs on the planet, touring every weekend across different continents. Recently, her involvement in the life and work of the renowned label M_nus has grown exponentially. With nearly ten years of touring alongside techno movement ideologist Richie Hawtin, the press often characterizes Magda as "the female face of techno music." What she does during her sets does not fit the concept of a "DJ Set"; her use of advanced technology and a unique creative approach allows her to create music live.

David Fine is one of the shadowy figures of London minimal techno and the owner of the label underl_ne (together with Magda and Troy Pierce). The label's team also includes Heartthrob, Jay Haze, Bruno Pronsato, Terrence Dixon, and Matt John. The ideology of the label is minimalism in the true musical manifestation of the term. It is quite difficult to characterize the music of underl_ne, but the unique performances of David Fine present a clear picture of what all aforementioned artists are trying to create together. This phenomenon is already taking root in the world's top clubs, such as DC10 (Ibiza), Fabric (London), and Panorama Bar (Berlin).
