Shanti continues to delight its guests, on Thursday, December 1, there will be a presentation of the new winter clothing collection 'Shanti' named STG, which stands for Soul Tibetan Guardian. This same evening will be the presentation of Dj Sashi's album 'Now and in India...', dedicated to the opening of the Shanti cafe in India.
On the next day, on Friday, Shanti will be visited by the French artist Taho (Lumina, France).
Taho emerged on the European music production scene in the mid-90s. He first performed at a local rave in 1993 at the age of 17, where he was noticed and two years later released on the F-Communications label by none other than Laurent Garnier himself. However, a few years later, Taho parted ways with the famous label. 'It was hard for me to adjust my ideas to F-Comm's interests,' he explained and in 1998 founded his own label, Lumina. Taho, a graphic designer by profession, believes that artists should 'lead the audience into a new era of enlightenment through sound collages, visual art, and digital poetry. By associating images with sounds, people can better understand the music and its message,' says Taho. The music of the romantic Frenchman is transparent and emotional. It is atmospheric deep with a solid framework, simultaneously influenced by Detroit techno, dub, and ambient.
Taho does not have many releases of his own, and he explains it simply: 'I want to make music that I will be proud of when I get older. There is too much coming out now, the market is oversaturated, and people are losing interest in the music scene. I try to release only the best I am capable of.'
