Martin Buttrich at Mio Dj Cafe's Birthday

On September 11, German artist Martin Buttrich will perform at the eighth anniversary of Mio Dj Cafe. Martin's musical journey dates back to the 90s when he could be found in clubs in Berlin and Hannover. At the age of 18, he began his musical experiments in the X-Rotation project with Daniel Bross, resulting in collaborations such as Rhythm Assault, Sounds of Life, and Phunk Diggaz. In the early years of his career, Buttrich created an impressive collection of beats and assembled a whole arsenal of music studio equipment. It opened in 1997 in Hannover in the basement of Peppermint Jam Distribution, followed by remixes for Madonna, Muse, Fatboy Slim, Josh Wink, and Green Velvet. In 2002, he met Loco Dice, which later led to the idea of starting his own label. In 2006, Martin Buttrich and Loco Dice founded the Desolat label, whose headquarters are now based in Düsseldorf.
