Plastique promotion presents the performance of techno music star DJ Marusha (Berlin, Low Spirit rec.) at Plaza club. Also performing are Plastique residents: Craft/Melody. It is no exaggeration to say that Marusha is one of the most famous DJs in the world. She was born on November 18, 1966 in Nuremberg and currently resides in Berlin. Over the years, Marusha has traveled the globe, capturing the hearts of rave enthusiasts with her unique 'Marusha DJ Set'. Her career began in 1991 in Berlin, where she hosted the program 'Dancehall' on the youth radio station DT 64 airing on Saturdays. After the station closed, Marusha moved to another frequency, 102.6 Mhz, where she hosted the program 'Rave Satellite' on 'Fritz' radio. But that was just the beginning. Soon the multi-talented Marusha surprised Germany with her youth television program 'Feuerreiter', which she hosted for 2.5 years. The year 1994 was Marusha's year. 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' became her biggest hit, ranking third in the Media Control Charts, going platinum, and selling 500,000 copies. Her next single, 'It Takes Me Away', repeated this success and went gold. In the summer of 1994, her first album 'Raveland' was released, which rightfully remains one of the most popular albums in dance music. Throughout 1995, Marusha DJed at techno parties worldwide, leading her to win the 'VIVA Comet 95' award for 'Best Techno Act' and the 'Echo Award 95' for 'Best Female Artist National'. She was also nominated for 'Best Female Artist' at the 'MTV Award 95'. Following this, Marusha toured the world for a year while her fans eagerly awaited new tracks. She burst into the charts with the track 'Deep', reaching 12th place in the Media Control Charts. The album 'Wir' and the single 'Unique' were released simultaneously. This album pays tribute to the entire techno-house scene. In the album title 'We', Marusha sees a true manifestation of the four rave culture commandments - Peace, Love, Unity & Respect.
