Masha Era to perform at Migz festival

Masha Era is a musical performance created in collaboration with Russian musician Ilya Shapovalov, featuring electronic music with elements of neo-cabaret. The musical miniatures are accompanied by an original video sequence and theatrical techniques: stage decorations, symbolic objects, costumes, makeup, and the movements of the heroine - all together create a sense of a unified space for the viewer, a penetration into non-being, where the subconscious intuition of life seems more obvious and significant than everyday reality. The performance echoes the motives presented in the video installation 'Non-existence/Небытие,' where a white girl singing a lullaby appears in the space of a black cube room in a detached manner. Anton Kubikov talks about the project: 'There is a very interesting musician Ilya Shapovalov with the project Masha Era, perhaps the best one after Mujuice. By the way, their live performances are also impressive. We will soon release Ilya on the Pro-Tez label.'
