Masterclasses and Courses at DJ Groove School

The DJ Groove Audio electronic music school will be conducting masterclasses for beginner and practicing DJs on November 18 and 19, providing a unique opportunity to hear from professionals and get exclusive information on music creation and promotion. The first masterclass by DJ, musician, and festival organizer Victor Strogonov (Fashist) will be held on Tuesday, November 18, starting at 8:00 p.m. Victor will talk about the brief history of the rave movement, DJ's musical taste and performance on stage, equipment, sound carriers, sound quality, possible equipment problems and their solutions, conflicts with organizers and their resolutions, and essential points when compiling technical and hospitality riders. On Wednesday, November 19, Alexander 'Melodica' Krasovsky, who successfully passed teaching exams at the end of October as part of Apple's international educational program on the new product Apple Logic Studio Pro 8, a professional package of music programs, will conduct a masterclass on Logic Studio Pro 8. In a one-hour lecture, Alexander will demonstrate the techniques of using these programs in writing electronic club music, starting at 7:00 p.m. The series of masterclasses will be concluded by a lecture by DJ Volodya Fonarev, shedding light on various issues from technical aspects in music creation to promotion and organizing one's own events. This educational program, presented in collaboration with the DJ equipment manufacturer Pioneer, continues the lineup of specialized courses aimed at developing the technical knowledge acquired by students during training in basic programs ('DJ Course' for DJs and 'Music Production' for musicians and producers).
