Mathias Schaffhauser with a New Album at Kubikov's Tech-vergi

Since 2000, Mathias Schaffhauser has released five albums and numerous records, including the cover version of "Hey Little Girl," which became a dance hit in Ibiza in 2001. Matthias has made remixes for Goldfrapp, Luomo, and Steve Bug. He travels a lot – his sets can be heard everywhere from Nuremberg to Bogotá. In 1998, he founded the label Ware, on which the anniversary 50th release was issued in March this year. Among the artists released by Ware are Hans Nieswandt, Decomposed Subsonic, Markus Guntner, and Coloma. In April, the new album of Matthias "Coincidance" [Ware CD 14] was released, receiving a lot of positive reviews in both the German and international music press.
About his new creation, Matthias says: "Coincidance... What does it mean? Danceability, of course; and believe me, we understand this quite well. This is still the key point in the world of techno house. And what about the first half of the title? Robert Taylor (a.k.a. Coloma) coined this word when I told him the working title of the album – "Chance Rules." He thought it was too close to a slogan and suggested naming the album Coincidance. This word suited perfectly. I liked it right away. Chance helped to find exactly what was needed. "Truth is silent, it's life that screams loud" – a very accurate phrase. It’s time to stop thinking so hard about the truth; just do what you feel. "It just smells weird," said a certain musical philosopher from California. True! It’s time to trust your nose and run away from "November Reign," the rainy season, which at one stage of its creation could be characterized as logical music built of blocks and loops. Give in to the feelings when the night fog "Nacht & Nebel" descends again. Turn off the daylight and turn on the strobe light. The illusion of "Being Wild" is always young, trendy, and dangerous, even at a village disco. Become the director of your own blockbuster "Episode X" with all your stars and fantasies in the roles."

Now, Matthias continues his club tour in Europe to support his new album. One of the stops will be the Tech-vergi party of Anton Kubikov at "Phlegmatic Dog" on May 26.
