Melt! 2008

In 2008, the German electronic music festival Melt! will celebrate its eleventh anniversary. Spanning three days, Melt! will take place in the vast industrial museum Ferropolis, in the town of Gräfenhainichen, southeast of Dessau, Germany. More than 80 musicians are expected to perform, introducing the audience to the latest in electronic music across the most unexpected directions.

This is not the complete lineup of the festival, with more names being added every day. In addition to the music, many are attracted to the festival's location - Ferropolis, an open-air museum with enormous antiquated machines, some weighing more than 1,500 tons and reaching heights of 30 meters...

The festival will open on July 18, 2008, and will last until July 20, 2008. Tickets for one day and three days are already on sale and include admission to the festival, camping, parking, and official permission to swim in Lake Gremmin.

Three-day ticket with a Bjork concert + 4 more concerts tba = 85 euros + booking fee.
One-day ticket with a Bjork concert + 4 more concerts tba = 45 euros + booking fee.
Two-day ticket with free access to the "Sleepless Floor" = 65 euros + booking fee.
