MIA to Headline Sub Static Night

On October 23, Shanti nightclub will host a themed party for the first time, featuring the Berlin techno label Sub Static. Having recently celebrated its tenth anniversary, this label has earned a reputation as cult with its catalog showcasing the evolution of '00s club music. From immersive atmospheric dub-techno to deep lyricism and energetic percussion tracks, Sub Static offers a diverse range of sounds. One of the co-founders of Sub Static, Falko Brocksieper, has performed at our club before. This time, his associate, Michaela Grobelny, known as MIA, will be coming to Moscow. Michaela is not only a highly successful label manager but also a vibrant DJ and musician with over a dozen records in her discography. Apart from her own label Sub Static and techno underground flagships like Traum Schallplatten, Trapez, and Areal, Michaela's music has attracted big names such as ZYX Music, Fabric, and International Deejay Gigolo Records, with remixes requested by Thomas Brinkmann, Jeremy Caulfield, and Basteroid. The Russian DJ quartet consisting of Flat, Lira, Cross, and Koshkin will accompany the headline act.
