Michael Mayer - Sliding Rhythm and Microhouse

In addition to managing the Kompakt label, which has shown the world many talented musicians over its existence, as well as a distribution company and a music store, Mayer has gained a reputation as a world-class DJ over the past ten years. His sets feature a fusion of the most complementary styles - schaffel house - a sliding rhythm borrowed from rock monsters of the 70s like T Rex and Gary Glitter, and neat, slightly paranoid microhouse.
Michael Mayer has released numerous records on the labels Kompakt, NTA, and Ladomat and countless remixes, as well as - under the pseudonym Forever Sweet - a collaborative album with Tobias Thomas and Reinhard Voigt on the Ladomat label.
