Michael Mayer releaseает Immer II

Respected by almost everyone, the head of the Kompakt label, who has turned minimalism into what Bob Marley did with reggae, is revealing his cards. Finally, he is presenting the tracklist of the upcoming mix Immer II – the long-awaited sequel to the 2002 classic. The first mix, Immer, introduced the wider audience to the world of Kompakt and the Cologne sound. If before, minimalism was reserved for 'geeks' and 'intellectuals' in dance music – after the release of Immer, everyone saw that techno can have a human face. The mix combined melodiousness with power, beauty with energy, and naturally, everyone was waiting for a continuation. The tracklist of Immer II doesn't bring any surprises – it includes both well-known, time-tested veterans (Justus Kohncke, SCSI-9, The Rice Twins) and relatively unknown young musicians (Ian Simmonds, Brooks, Trevor). The compilation is topped off by a remix by Mayer and Superpitcher of a track by the glam-house group Geiger, which they did under the name Supermayer.
