Mike Spirit Birthday Party and Live from Sender Berlin in Gorod

On May 26, the Gorod club will host a celebration of Mike Spirit's birthday. One of the top Russian DJs, who has been delighting the domestic (and not only) audience with his music for over 10 years, gathers all his close friends every year for the Spirit's Day party dedicated to his birthday. One of the most successful producers on the domestic legal music market, host of his own radio show Highway on Megapolis FM, the only resident of the Gorod club who has played there since the very first day of the club's existence, a regular participant in Kazantip and Fortdance festivals, the first Russian DJ to play his set at the legendary techno series Automatique party at Rex club (Paris) - Mike Spirit's accomplishments can be listed for a long time. The main thing that remains unchanged with him is great music and the ability to bring joy to people. As always on Mike's birthday, the entire light of the domestic club business will gather; he will be congratulated by the main favorites of the Moscow audience - Fish, Volodya, Kubikov, Mario, Grad, Kolya, Pimenov, Kiriloff, Gromov, Thierry Tomas. And, of course, in the middle of the night, there will be a special bar performance - a special bezday set from the birthday boy.

And on May 27, there will be More than a Party in Gorod featuring Sender Berlin. "Sender Berlin is a collective that, in today’s ‘advanced-fashion’ times, is probably not the most famous, which absolutely does not diminish its quite high musical merits. Those who heard the album 'Spektrum Weltweit', which was released on Tresor, surely agree with me,” says Magic B, a veteran of Russian DJing who played at the same Berlin Tresor and organizer of the first DJ store in Russia "DiskoXXX" - “This album has everything: from electronic downtempo, minimal in the proper sense, dub techno to melodic-groovy tech-house and Detroit techno.” To promote such a musical cocktail in 1999, "Sender Berlin" created their record company with the telling name unGleich - "Unequal". It's worth adding that the live performance of Hendrik Waak and Thorsten Litsko from Sender Berlin (Alexander Lukat has not participated in tours for several years) at the "Gorod" club will take place as part of the promo tour for their new third album "Unequal Arts", which was very warmly received by European music critics. "This is another tribute to those,” says Magic B, “who appreciate good and interesting music, not advertising banners."
