This year there will be no Love Parade in Berlin. On July 14, the city streets will be empty and silent. The event organizers have officially apologized and explained that there was too little time to find sponsors, and without them, the festival would have been unprofitable. They promised that the festival will definitely take place next year in 2006. But who knows? Because next year the FIFA World Cup will be held in Berlin. On July 14, at Club '16 Tons', there will be a party called Minimal Love Parade. Its aim is to support Love Parade, the world's main mass entertainment event. In the past month, the festival with a Berlin copyright has taken place in Mexico, Israel, the USA, and Chile.

DJ Tom Clark's name has become an integral part of the Berlin electronic music scene. His label Highgrade Records has played a role in shaping a new sound that has become synonymous with the word 'Berlin' and its hallmark. As a boy, he used a dual-cassette deck and a vinyl player to mix hip-hop, disco, and rock. His main preferences were black music, Chicago house, and Detroit techno. He went from being the king of school parties to the main after-party DJ, and eventually began overshadowing the artists he opened for. He performed at well-known clubs like 'E-Werk' and 'Tresor', and today is a resident at 'Watergate'. Writing his own electronic music was a logical continuation of his career in 1997; at that time, he co-founded the label Gold Plate Music, which had a significant influence on the Berlin music scene. In 2000, Tom founded Highgrade Records, which was a response to the declining reputation of house music and an ambitious attempt to elevate the musical style to a new level. The label releases heavyweight house, slightly more rigid and techno-influenced. Additionally, Clark releases his music on labels like Superbra and Rampe D, and remixes tracks by Alexander Kowalski and D. Diggler. Today, his records and DJ sets have been rocking dance floors worldwide for ten years. Throughout his career, he has toured almost every European country, been to Australia three times, played in intimate clubs as well as large-scale festivals and open-air events. His musical style includes deep minimal tech/house, Detroit techno, electro, and house.
