Ministry Presents: Gothic Halloween
Клубные российские · 30.10.2003
Fun on the brink of hysteria. The "golden mean" between panic and festivity. "Bare" nerves and magnificent rest. The desire to escape and an even greater desire to stay. This is not for the weak and frail, not for the sluggish and indifferent. This is for the lovers and, most importantly - masters of breaking loose.
For two nights, the club will transform into a medieval castle. Guests will become participants in an interactive performance together with actors from Moscow theaters and special dance performances.
Special guest Jazzy M
Jazzy M hosted the popular radio program Jackin Show for 10 years, played at the opening of the world-famous club "Ministry of Sound" in 1991. One could say that Jazzy M is one of those pioneers of the phenomenon called house music. His resume includes: international DJ, music producer, promoter, owner of a record label and a music store. Jazzy M has worked with renowned artists like Paul Weller and the Style Council, Jimmy Sommerville, DC Lee, Arthur Baker, and more.
Among Jazzy's discography is his first remix recorded at the Gee Street studio with the group Stereo MC; the release titled "Chime" from the group Orbital, which came out on his own label "Oh zone", as well as the composition 'Living in a World of Fantasy' recorded together with Larry from "Mr Fingers", Garry, and Robert Owen. Throughout his career, Jazzy has worked with the most influential and famous dance music artists. He has recorded tracks with Maxi Jazz from Faithless, as well as with Arthur Baker and Paul Weller.
This is a person who once discovered the iconic group "ORBITAL". When one of the Hartnoll brothers visited Jazzy's store and played a cassette with the track "Chime," the already experienced player immediately offered help with its release on a White label.
Recently, Jazzy M has been more focused on studio work and touring. In 2000, he released an album titled 'Jazzin The Way,' which was released on the Perfecto label owned by Paul Oakenfold. He has recently relaunched his label "Oh Zone," which is home to his friends Tim Deluxe, Julian Jonah, Jeremy B, and resident Ministry of Sound DJ Marc Hughes. Jazzy M regularly plays in London clubs such as Cream, Bed, The Pod, Shugar Shack, Passion, Faith, Miss Moneypennys, and of course, Ministry of Sound. Last year, he was the resident DJ for Ministry of Sound parties at the PACHA club in IBIZA. In this capacity, he is also a frequent guest in Tel Aviv, Greece, Switzerland, and Dubai. One could say Jazzy simply lives on airplanes, moving from country to country and club to club. In 2001, he recorded two mixes for the "7 live compilations" project (DMC magazine) and released the Headliners compilation CD for Ministry of Sound.
