Mio DJ Cafe Presents Gigolo Party: Halloween "Emily The Strange iz here"

Splank, the brain center of Zombie Nation, released the first record of Zombie Nation with 5 tracks on DJ Hell's Gigolo label in 1999. Before that, he organized illegal parties in Zombie-City aka Munich with a group of friends. The debut release included the song Kernkraft 400, which gained a life of its own. The Zombie created a monster, and the creature spread worldwide. Remakes and remixes of this song made the monster even more powerful, landing it at the top positions in the charts of Europe (Greece 1st place, England 2nd place).
Now Zombie must cope with the status of an underground electro project that must be at the top of the charts. Should the Zombies justify the crowd's expectations and take into account the requests of the marketing director of the Gigolo label, who constantly tells them, "Hey! Record another hit for us to make it a ringtones!"? In reality, Zombie Nation's music is much above all this marketing fluff. That Splank remains true to his internal beat and bass proves the latest ZN Absorber album, which was released on Gigolo following Leichenschmaus (fall of '99).
Absorber features a lot of fresh electro-core, abstractions, and diversity. Sounds were extracted from rare instruments and machines, often improved by Splank himself. Zombie Nation doesn't care about being understood by everyone; the group places more value on its consistency and details. Many tracks were written over years and tested on dance audiences in unfinished forms.
The Zombie Nation Live show has transformed into what seems like another band. Its world tour has been ongoing for three years without pause, and in the coming months, there will be even more concerts. Be careful, your encounter with a zombie may happen sooner than you think (although for some, it may not be so soon).

A lot has happened at Zombie headquarters in the last couple of years. In spring 2001, Splank founded his own label, Dekathlon Records. After releasing 8 other artists' records, he decided it was time to release Zombie on his label.
The ninth catalog number is the single Souls at Zero - a track from the Absorber album. There's also an amazing remix by Sven Väth. The album itself was released on September 1. Thirteen new tracks - different, yet connected by one style. My Robot Friend - a project released by Dekathlon artist - is also on this album.
The mysterious man-machine from New York presents his (very human) voice in the composition The Cut (CD track 09).
John Starlight is the much harsher half of Splank's schizophrenic identity. He was created to become the head of international zombification. His EP Blood Angels and Zauberstab der Liebe (Television/ Superstar) were very successful. These tracks can be found on the playlists of many famous DJs. At the end of June, John Starlight's first album Rip It! was released.
