The World of Westbam

Contrforce company, Udar.music record label, and Low Spirit are pleased to announce to all techno music fans the release of Westbam's new album 'Do you believe in the westworld?' in Russia. Maximilian Lenz (also known as Westbam and the founder of the Berlin record company 'Low Spirit') is perhaps the most beloved Western DJ in St. Petersburg. It's long overdue to award the modern techno legend the title of Honored Artist of Russia and the Soviet Union. In 2001, Westbam participated as a headliner in a summer open-air event in Kronstadt, and also played at a party at the 'Port' nightclub. And finally, in May 2002, he took part in the first 'MayDay' party in Russia at the Yubileyny Sports Complex. The title of the new album sounds like a question, the answer to which is already clear. 'The world of Westbam' is traditionally full of electro sounds, built on the basis of very clear rhythms and energetic guitar lines. Interestingly, all the lyrics in the tracks are written and performed by Maximilian himself.
