Young star Jim Rivers

Jim Rivers is heading to Gazgolder club. In the suitcase of the British DJ are the records he plays at the legendary 'Empathy' parties in Bristol. A sophisticated tech/prog/house set from the student of Satoshi Tomiie – is the merit of the label Underground Sound Of Moscow, which set a goal to deliver the freshest trends of European dance underground to Moscow clubbers.
The opening of 2006 and one of the most promising DJs by the unrevealed results of 2007, Jim Rivers will perform in Moscow for the first time. There is no doubt that his set at Gazgolder club will attract the attention of the progressive dance community – the fame of the 'Empathy' resident has long exceeded the boundaries of the United Kingdom.
It is worth reminding that Rivers first made himself known to the world with the 'Restore EP' release. The record, released on Saw Recordings, became a bestseller in music stores of the British Isles almost the next day. And after the track got into a compilation of Satoshi Tomiie's Renaissance label, it seems like every second DJ on the planet included it in their mix. Following the loud debut on Satoshi's label, there were releases supported by Nic Fanciulli (Saved Recordings), and a disc released thanks to the authoritative Australian record company EQ. Even such well-known representatives of electronic music as Sasha, Pete Tong, Paolo Mojo, The Flash Brothers, Cris Lake, and many others spoke favorably of Rivers' works. Their support automatically put Jim Rivers among the young stars of the dance scene, whose new works are worth paying close attention to.
In 2007, DJ Rivers did not disappoint the audience and his peers. The result of painstaking studio work was joint tracks with Paolo Mojo, the release of his own 'Moodswings EP' on CR2 Records, and the track 'Blackbox' included in a new compilation from Global Underground. Jim also continued his collaboration with Satoshi Tomiie, who included his track 'I Go Deep' in his own CD 'Masters of Renaissance'. As for the remixes attributed to Rivers, among them are many tracks that have become dancefloor hits this year: 'New Path' by Gabriel & Dresden, 'Cat Out of the Bag' by Nic Fanciulli, 'Like You' by Remote, 'Light the Skies' by Cerf & Mitiska, and more. At Gazgolder club, Jim Rivers will play a three-hour set.
On October 5, on Friday at the decks at Gazgolder: Jim Rivers (UK), Abelle & Beekeeper, 11.8 (Live), Timque, Alehin, and Gans.
