To date, Lee/Cabrera is the fastest-growing team. This talented duo has undoubtedly rightfully taken its place among the leading players on the modern dance scene after their mega-hit 'Shake It Down'. The license for this hit was sold in over 25 countries, and it was released on five different dance compilations, also being named 'Best Recording of 2003'. Their conquest of the dance industry continued as the composition topped the major charts around the world. Pete Tong constantly referred to 'Shake It' as number 1 in his program on Radio 1, while MixMag placed it as the top track in the Top Ten Tunes compiled from the results of club summer in Ibiza.
They burst onto the international dance scene in 2001 with a remix of Lil’ Mo Yin Yang’s 'Reach'. The remix immediately became a club hit, drawing the attention of leading industry producers, equipment manufacturers, and broad support from peers: Danny Tenaglia, Roger Sanchez, Steve Lawler, Deep Dish, and Pete Tong. This mix appeared on Pete Tong’s annual compilation as well as on Pacha’s 2002 Mix Compilation. Similar success followed Lee/Cabrera's subsequent works - 'My Time' - Crystal Waters, 'It’s Up To You' - Layo & Bushwacka, 'Safe From Harm' - Narcotic Thrust, 'Stars' - Morjack, 'Rosa Blu' - Planet Funk.
'Non-stop' is the only way to describe the life of two geniuses from New York: DJ/producer Steven Lee and legendary Albert Cabrera. Over the past two years, they have produced an enormous amount of material, encompassing the sounds of Latin, progressive, trance, techno, and more. Together, Lee/Cabrera have worked with superstars such as Madonna, Crystal Waters, Prince, Layo & Bushwacka, Planet Funk, The Scumfrog, and Alex Cartana. Their music can be found on the compilations of leading record labels in the world - Strictly Rhythm, MCA, Credence (UK), Ministry of Sound (UK), Illustrious (UK), EMI, V2, and Sony.
