Musical Family: Katya Ryba and Korablev

Saint Petersburg did not grieve for long about the move to Moscow of DJ Korablev. As soon as it became known that Roman found his happiness in the capital with the well-known singer and DJ Katya Ryba, the former sadness turned into bright joy. We could not help but reach out to the new family for comments on what the musical family is up to and when their first joint performance is expected. Slightly embarrassed, but clearly happy, Katya Ryba satisfied our shameless curiosity with her responses: "Korablesov indeed moved to Moscow a few months ago, and the term 'musical family' is quite applicable to our unit of society. Project or no project, we do have several joint tracks. Roma composes music, and sometimes I throw ideas for it and sing. The track 'Over the Sky', for example, can be heard on my page Myspace. We are not in a hurry to formalize our relationship by calling the work a project or giving it a name. Comparing it with other projects and claiming its competitiveness is out of the question. Although it's not excluded that in the future, the 'musical family' will still perform live, where Katya Ryba will appear not only as a singer. However, there is still much to learn. For now, Roma performs with his own live set, and I happily engage in creativity together with SCSI-9. Soon, the album by the German musician Yapacc will also be released on Neuton, which will include a song in Russian performed by me. Plans include collaboration with Benno Blome (Sender) and Kollektive Turmstrasse (Connaisseur) - Germany."
