Media artist Toshio Iwai and Yamaha have released the next-generation digital musical instrument Tenori-On. Now, using a 16x16 matrix, anyone can intuitively create their musical masterpieces. The concept of the Yamaha Tenori-On controller implies that light and sound merge into one whole. DJs will find this device a very convenient auxiliary tool for performances at concerts. Of course, the device supports MIDI, but in addition to this, Tenori-On can load samples and jam based on them. In addition, another sound reproduction invention worth noting is the Monome, similar in characteristics. The main difference here is the Monome's open-source software, which the company hopes will attract a large number of enthusiasts into the community. Details here: Tenori-On→ Monome→
