The Real Rave of This Summer SummerTime!

1st alternative and the A-One channel present the first real rave of this summer SummerTime featuring British dance music stars Hybrid and Future Funk Squad, the cult St. Petersburg duo Roninbeat, DJs Arkadiy Air, Ed Kosmonavt, and video artist Katya AntiShanti.
Long ago, at the dawn of the British house movement, dance music was not divided into styles and directions. In one musical cauldron, "boiled" both breaks with their broken rhythms, and house then not yet reaching commercial heights, and severe techno, and drum’n’bass. The visitors of the first raves enjoyed complete freedom of choice. Traveling from dance floor to dance floor, listening to various performers, they picked what suited them best. Musicians, in turn, had a full understanding of their craft, if not completely shared their musical tastes, collaborators. As a result, electronic music, fueled by many diverse sources, became sophisticated and truly distinct. Unfortunately, today, confined to a narrow world of limited genres, dance music is taking on increasingly standardized contours. Divided into castes, clubbers disdainfully certify the music and parties of "competitors," gradually degenerating into purists obsessed with one rhythm and a singular sound. And for the live and developing organism of contemporary electronic music, this is akin to death. It is time to return to the roots. It is time to unlock these isolated worlds, to unite music of different styles and directions on one dance floor, to connect fans of breaks and drum’n’bass, techno and house music with mutual energy. The first step on this path is the SummerTime rave, gathering in the capacious Tuning Hall musicians of various styles and directions. Headliners uniting people at this show will be stars of British dance music Hybrid and Future Funk Squad, well-known to metropolitan clubbers. Moreover, within this event, the cult St. Petersburg group Roninbeat will present an exclusive live performance, reportedly comparable to Faithless live shows. The SummerTime rave will also kick off a true student summer since it is just at this time that many capital universities finish their sessions, and students have a great reason to get together. SummerTime... and the livin` is easy.
