Night Life Awards 2008

On March 5th, the anniversary 10th Night Life Awards ceremony will take place at the B1 Maximum club. Night Life Awards is an annual prize in the field of show business and high society club life of the two Russian capitals. The history of the award and the lists of its winners are a true encyclopedia of Russian club life, where a new chapter will open on March 5th. The Night Life Awards prize was established in 1998, giving a generous advance of trust to the domestic club industry: at that time, it was only possible to talk about Moscow clubs in perspective. NLA became the first - and remains the only one to this day - unique award that influences the development of club life. In 1998, the following received the award: Sinisha Lazarevich (best club promoter), Andrei Bartenev (club personality of the year), Propaganda (best dance club), and Jazz-cafe (Grand Prix Club of the year). Over the past ten years, the award has become a true encyclopedia of club life in the two capitals. The best clubs and openings of the year were: Jazz-cafe (Grand Prix 98), Club XIII (1999), Zeppelin (Opening of the year 2000), Ministry (opening of the year 2000), Justo (Grand Prix 2001), Shambala DJ Bar (2002), Summer-Autumn Project (2004), Fabrique club (best dance club, 2004), Opera (best dance club 2006), Roof of the World (opening of the year 2006). Among the promoters awarded by NLA were: Sinisha Lazarevich (1998), Gary Chaglasyan, Club XIII (1999), the promotional group of Zeppelin club: Zhora Petrushin and Dmitry Ashman (2001). For contributions to the development of the club industry, awards were held by Sergei Stegantsev (2003), Alexey Gorobiy (2006). In the nomination 'Club personality of the year', the winners were Andrei Bartenev, Fire Lady, Vlad Monroe, Nadya Skazka, Danila Polyakov, and Timati (2006). Without DJs, no club party can do, the Best DJ awards were received by: DJ Shevtsov (2000), DJ Fonar (2001), DJ List (2002), DJ Spyder (2003), Andrei Panin (2004), DJ Smash (2005), DJ Sergei Losev (2006). Leading the ceremony were personalities straight from glossy pages - Ksenia Sobchak, Ivan Urgant, Gosha Kutsenko, Vlad Monroe, Marika, and Alexander Anatolyevich. The award is presented in the following categories: 1. Opening of the year 2. Best music club 3. Club personality of the year (King of the night) 4. Best bar of the year 5. DJ of the year 6.
