Nic Fanciulli to Perform at Arma-17

Nic Fanciulli is the fourth headliner in the multi-part club blockbuster Masters Of Renaissance, conducted in Russia by Underground Sound Of Moscow and the Renaissance label. This time, the public is set to witness a musical event with a double intrigue. The first is a live performance of tracks from the bestselling double album Nic Fanciulli Vol.2, released on Renaissance, and the second is the venue itself. The British DJ will take to the stage at a completely new, yet unnamed club located in building 17 on the territory of the 'Arma' factory.

Nic Fanciulli's relationship with the Renaissance label began in 2005, with the release of the album Renaissance Presents Nic Fanciulli a.k.a. Skylark. The mix, composed of electro-house and deep-house tracks, was more than favorably received by listeners, leading music magazines, and radio stations in the UK.

By this time, Fanciulli already had several notable achievements. Starting to take an interest in music as a 16-year-old record seller in the provincial town of Maidstone, by the age of 20, he achieved the status of a rising star on the British dance scene, with all the ensuing consequences: participation in iconic parties and festivals in Ibiza and England, close collaboration with Radio 1, a residency at The Gallery club in Turnmills, and praise from Pete Tong, who called Fanciulli the best British DJ of 2002. The talented musician was enthusiastically discussed by the MTV channel; his photo adorned the cover of Mixmag magazine; leading European record labels fought over the rights to release remixes made by Nic, including even Credence Records. Signing a contract with Bullitt (the booking agency of Deep Dish), Fanciulli automatically became one of the most sought-after DJs in the world – his tours of America, Europe, and Asian countries lasted as long as rock stars' tours.

A new chapter in Fanciulli's relationship with Renaissance began just a few months later when the label offered him to work on a new compilation. Thus, in the fall of 2006, a double CD titled Renaissance Presents Nic Fanciulli Vol.2 appeared on the shelves of music stores across Europe. Fanciulli was praised for his skillful track selection, ability to create the right mood, and his own works Lucky Heather and Cat Out Of The Bag, with "bomb" becoming one of the most common definitions in reviews of the new release. Notably, this album was also released in Russia - the bold move in the context of the domestic music industry by Diamond Records was met with applause from the progressive music community.

The Masters Of Renaissance party featuring DJ Nic Fanciulli will be the opening event in the history of the new transformer venue located in the center of Moscow's night and artistic life - on the territory of the 'Arma' factory. Unique in format and architecture, the venue, currently under the conditional name Arma 17, is a two-level space resembling a round brick tower with a ceiling height of up to 20 meters. The venue's capacity is 1,500 people. The emphasis on sound, lighting, and special effects is related to the policy that Arma 17 intends to implement – the promotion of uncompromising dance underground through the best world-renowned and local DJs.
