Nokia Trends Lab in Russia

In the near future, Nokia Trends Lab will start operating again in Moscow - a festival conceived as a synthesis of current music, contemporary art, and the latest mobile technologies. On November 1, several interactive projects will be launched in the online laboratory www.nokiatrendslab.ru→, where participants will be able to try their hand at working with multimedia technologies, video, and music. The results of the experiment - musical tracks, mixes, video art - will be showcased at the festival closing on December 5, which will take place at the Gaudi club. In addition to the opportunity to assess the results of the joint creativity of several thousand people, guests of Nokia Trends Lab will enjoy performances by Canadian Tiga and Santigold, better known as Santogold, as well as other artists whose names are currently kept secret.Over the past three years, Nokia Trends Lab events have already been held in Russia, Germany, France, Ireland, Poland, Greece, and Lithuania. Last year in Moscow, the festival headliners were Booka Shade and New Young Pony Club. LCD Soundsystem conducted an interactive experiment, where participants filmed two-minute video portraits with their mobile devices for a month, with the best ones included in the LCD Soundsystem video show during their DJ set.
