New release by Satoshi Tomiie

Throughout its long and eventful existence, the label Renaissance has launched many different series, but the most important and principal one is considered to be the 'Master Series.' If a DJ releases a mix in this series, it signifies their status and the trust bestowed upon them by the label. Of Japanese descent, yet navigating between the USA and Japan, Satoshi Tomiie has long been a favorite. Starting off working with house legend Frankie Knuckles (resulting in the classic house track 'Tears'), Tomiie then delved deep into the scene - actively immersing himself in the American house scene, meeting David Morales, and becoming part of his Def Mix label family. Later, he took everything he learned there back to his native Japan, where he is considered one of the pioneers of the local club scene. He then released the remarkable album 'Full Lick,' which was enthusiastically received by music critics and the dancing public. But Tomiie's wave of popular acclaim truly peaked when his mix in the 'NuBreed' series was released on the Global Underground label, and the artist himself launched his own label Saw Recordings, quickly becoming one of the leading labels in the global progressive house scene. This is Satoshi's second release on Renaissance. The first was a mix in the '3-D' series, which was warmly received in club circles. Now it's time for the renowned Japanese artist to join the ranks of John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Deep Dish - in short, those who have already made a mark in the 'Masters Series.' As for the music, everything is done precisely and in line with the latest musical trends - electric rhythms, tech-house, minimalist rhythms of German production, all seasoned with a solid dose of melodicism, human soul, and warmth. In this way, Tomiie demonstrates his professionalism, adding one more name to the top league of DJs.
