Foie gras and concasse no longer seem like names of exotic animals, and the question of steak doneness has an infallible answer - medium. With drinks, it's a completely different story... For most citizens, wine remains red and white, vodka as an aperitif, and whiskey - "Red", "Black", and "with cola". The establishment being constructed on Neglinnaya has been modestly named J.A.B. (Just Another Bar), but it is being created not for the majority. Its owners and those who are likely to become regulars are young, successful people who know very well how, when, and what should be drunk. London, New York, and Berlin are familiar to them not from school textbooks, so to give birth to the idea, it was enough to gather the most interesting impressions from their travels and add, as usual, a certain "feature". The "feature" appeared literally from the ground. During the construction process, the astonished eyes of migrant workers witnessed unexpected evidence that at the site of the future alcohol Mecca for Moscow yuppies... people had already been drinking actively for a long time! And this is not about tons of discarded glass bottles, but actual proof that here, on Neglinnaya, there may have existed the very first shot bar in Moscow! To preserve the found rarity as much as possible, the architectural concept of the bar was practically completely changed, so the upcoming opening in December can also be seen as a cultural-historical event. Furthermore, one undeniable merit of JAB's owners is the initial attraction of a whole team of professionals to work on the bar, from the manager to the bartenders, ensuring a first-class selection of various drinks, an exclusive cocktail menu, and excellent service from day one, without the usual six months of "ramping up." Food, as is customary in a proper bar, will not be served, so arriving for a party should happen somewhere between dinner and breakfast, with various restaurants and cafés located in close proximity.
