New Underground Parties in Moscow

The shortage of underground dance events in Moscow is, alas, a fact. Coming to the rescue of desperate clubbers in the capital is the promoter of German descent Chris aka Two-Zero, the mastermind behind the Organique Grooves party series. The concept and ambiance perfectly fit the framework of an unconventional event – entry by secret mailing list, trash cans at the entrance, cheap alcohol in plastic cups, small spaces, stuffiness, sweat, non-commercial music. Organique Grooves were conceived as an analogue of wild New York dance bar parties, but turned out to be a cheerful expat rave until three in the morning. The musical format is dance music based on Brazilian and African rhythms performed by the former DJ duo Epik Soundsystem - DJ Gatek and DJ Old Dog. The next D-Day is October 17th.
