Collection "EXIT TO CITY TWO", CHEBUREC, 2001.\nAlbum release date: 12/10/2001, format: CD, MC.\nThe "CHEBUREC" label celebrates its second anniversary with the release of a new compilation "EXIT TO THE CITY TWO".\nThe first collection "EXITING THE CITY" was released in 2000 and was an interesting reflection of the musical life of St. Petersburg at that time: the experiences of famous DJs in writing music (Lena Popova and DJ Elephant), the growing St. Petersburg easy listening from Igor Vdovin and NETSLOV, sound experiments of the projects TENZOR, TAIGA and "Christmas Tree TOYS". Over the past year, thanks to the active position of the label and the efforts of the musicians themselves, a lot has changed. After a successful collaboration with LO Recordings (UK) on a collection of Russian electronic music RU.ELECTRONIC, label "CHEBUREC" \npublishes a new music collection "EXIT TO TOWN TWO".\nThe music presented on the collection is varied, but not eclectic. Varying from the experimental electronics of TENZOR and "CHRISTMAS TOYS" to the dub-jazz of SENSIVA, from the social aggression of 2H COMPANY to the lyricism of LONYX and BATISKAF, from the minimal-techno TAIN to the noise of NIGHTECH and PLATTFORMER, from the psychedelic power pop of PCP to the electro-engineering version of the idm style of the group VESNA, united by the common idea of searching for something new, harmoniously connects different geographical coordinates, stylistics and emotional tonality into a single whole. This "experimental" approach to music positions CHEBUREC as a label interested in exploring the latest trends in sound. Separately, it is worth noting the composition of the Bristol duo STOLOFF & HOPKINSON presented on the collection - an interesting rethinking of the famous “Bristol sound”.\nThe new compilation presents the works of 15 musical groups from St. Petersburg, Serov, Arkhangelsk, Severodvinsk, Nizhny Novgorod, as well as Boston and Bristol, and is a kind of calling card of the label.
