New album by Diggadgy - Soundation

The Sound Authority, DreaMusic, and Shanti Club present the new album by Diggadgy - Soundation.

The Lipetsk group Diggadgy (in Hindu mythology - eight cosmic elephants guarding the cardinal points from demons) led by brothers Konstantin and Pavel Lyubavin has long been recognized as one of the leaders of the domestic world-fusion scene. Their compositions are based on a fusion of Eastern musical tradition and modern electronic arrangements. Drawing inspiration from the works of Ravi Shankar and George Harrison, the musicians utilize new technologies: club rhythms ranging from house to dubstep-garage and lounge keyboards are seamlessly intertwined with the sound of ancient Indian instruments - sitar, tabla, bansuri flute, pungi, and others. The group has a wealth of touring experience, including regular concerts at a club in Goa. However, the collective gained the most recognition performing as residents of the Moscow club Shanti.
