New Year in the City

Club Gorod starts the calendar year 2007, as befits a good Moscow club – on the night of December 31 to January 1! On the main dance floor of the club, authorized representatives of the famous German label International DJ Gigolos, Greek Savas Pascalidis and the beautiful G. The name of the German label, which constantly changes its logos – from Schwarzenegger to Sid Vicious, and then to porn star Amanda Lepore – has been known since the tumultuous early nineties. One of the brightest representatives of the global techno scene, joker, bon vivant, and fashionista DJ Hell started releasing techno, electro, mixed with horrific experiments and surges of rock music. Gradually, people with similar views gathered around the label; for example, Savas Pascalidis moved from the techno label Kurbel to the crazy electro-punk-glam party, where with his piercing electro, he started to feel at home. Even the boom around the term "electroclash," largely provoked by this German label, experienced no special upheavals. But if the name Pascalidis still means something to someone, the name of the girl often simply identifying herself as G.Rizo remains a mystery. But she is a 100% representative of the followers of the ideas that the creative label spits out. Fashion-music-80s – these are the three pillars on which the entire philosophy of G.Rizo is built. Paying huge attention to appearance, the artist fervently collects various unusual musical products, mixing all this on old rattling house and crackling, breaking electro. Her stylishness is so striking that some New York critics (where, in fact, G.Rizo lives) dubbed her "the new Grace Jones," which fully fits into the stylistic line being developed by the label International DJ Gigolos.
After reading all of the above, it becomes clear that among the New Year’s night festivities, Club Gorod has once again managed to stand out and occupy a special place for this night. By decorating the club in a special way, training the staff, and turning their loyal resident DJs into Santa Clauses, Gorod once again proves that they love what they do here, know it well, and fully justify the unofficial title of a club with a bright and impressive concert program.
