New Toy Piano Label

A new record label Toy Piano presents current projects from the Russian independent music scene. The first project released on the label is the band Dsh-Dsh! They can be considered one of the most interesting musical discoveries of this summer. The group instantly gained the sympathy of the audience and received flattering reviews from critics. And it's not surprising. Each member of Dsh-Dsh! is worthy of individual attention. For example, Dsh-Dsh! guitarist Alex Kelman also plays the role of the ideological inspirer of the well-known project Punk TV in Russia and abroad. Another member, Yevgenia Borzikh, once caused a sensation among Moscow music critics, and now her playful songs are sung all over the country. Two more members, Andriesh and DJ Cross, are recognized stars of Moscow's club dance floors. In two months of active concert activity, the group has already participated in all significant music events of this summer: Afisha Picnic in Moscow, Stereoleto in St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg. The single 'Morе,' a joint release by Toy Piano and the creative association Leibniz, released on July 19, is the first work of the collective released on CD. Another release by Toy Piano is the album by the project Bnwa, created by Moscow musician with Canadian roots Benoit Fise. The first album self-released by the musician is a worthy project of DIY creativity. After this, Bnwa was noticed by the attentive compilers of the collection of young musicians 'Afisha Demo,' who described him as playing 'naive and pleasantly strange electropop, accompanying himself on an instrument called a lemur.'
