Now & Wow bring Marco Carola

Promotion group Freelance Bandits, club Gorod, project 44100Hz [www.44100.com], and the magazine 'Ne Spit!' proudly present the first party of the Now & Wow'06 series and its headliner - Italy's first techno DJ, founder of Zenith and Design labels, Marco Carola. The club brand Now & Wow emerged in Moscow at the beginning of 2004. Now & Wow started as a tribute project celebrating the decade of the Russian techno movement, but today its ideologist Vladimir Trapeznikov sees its mission in shaping a new, independent club culture based on music 'techno.' The concept of Now & Wow is based on the idea of creating a virtual club that unites all lovers of quality dance music in Moscow. The project aims to introduce the audience to the most relevant techno musicians on the planet. The Now & Wow brand advocates a non-commercial approach to dance music, where the value of a DJ is determined not by the number of records sold, but by the originality of their musical thinking. From 2004 to 2005, pillars of modern electronic music and iconic DJs and musicians like Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath, and HardFloor visited Moscow. In line with the motto of Now & Wow - 'Right time, right place, right music, right People' - these parties consistently attracted the most discerning audience in the club Gorod for two years. In 2006, the Now & Wow project reached a new level. Thanks to the Russian label 'Pravitelstvo Zvuka / World Club Music,' a series of compilations prepared by Russian residents of this club brand - DJs Volodey, Spirit, and Mario - was launched. The first compilation, mixed by DJ Volodey Now & Wow Selection, was released in April 2006. The second album in the series, recorded by resident DJ Mario, will be released at the end of May. Now & Wow events will continue with a series of parties in Moscow clubs featuring famous Western musicians. The first guest of the project will be Marco Carola - a party with his participation will take place in the club Gorod on June 24. At this party, the guests of Gorod will also be able to congratulate DJ Volodya on his birthday - he will be turning 36 that night. In autumn and winter, the most relevant representatives of European techno and minimal will perform in Moscow as part of Now & Wow - Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Anthony Rother, Magda, Troy Pierce, Heartthrob. On July 28, a special Now & Wow event will take place at the 'Kazantip' festival with the participation of the German techno legends Hardfloor.
