Just a few days are left until one of the largest summer festivals, Sonar, in Barcelona. For those who have been to this event, it’s unnecessary to explain that during its duration, the city transforms into one large music and dance venue. Some are happy to blend in with the crowd, while others, arriving specifically for the festival, escape to more exclusive parties. This year will be no exception.
From June 18 to 20, Barcelona’s promoters from the Index group will host showcases for three well-known labels: Mobilee, Vakant, and Get Physical. On June 18th, the Mobilee party will feature the label's owners themselves - Anja Schneider and Ralf Kollmann, later joined by Hector, Pan-Pot, Exercise One (live), and Marcin Czubala (live). On June 19th, the Vakant night will see a fully Berlin lineup: Dinky, Mathias Kaden, Dario Zenker, DeWalta. Finally, at the Get Physical event, heavyweights DJ T, Matthew Dear, Heidi, and Damian Lazarus will perform. All three events will take place at the new club Wip, which features an outdoor terrace for those who love Barcelona’s warm night air.
Additionally, on June 19th at the Nitsa club, representatives from the Cologne label Kompakt will perform: Gui Boratto, who is performing in Moscow these days, Superpitcher, DJ Koze, Gus Gus, and DJ Fra (Ferenc).
