"Global Underground" is the most famous music company releasing the best mixes in the world, featuring the world's best DJs. Founded in 1996 by Andy Horsfield and James Todd, it effectively revived the DJ mix industry. Today, the "Global Underground" label is one of the main players in the music market. With the support of "Global Underground", a grand dance party will take place on February 19, 2005, at the Cultural and Entertainment Center "Slava", gathering all fans of quality dance music. Throughout the night, guests of the party will enjoy the virtuosic skills of world-renowned DJs Nick Warren and Ashley Casselle.
British dance scene legend Nick Warren, "responsible" for the fantastically beautiful albums of Way out West and a series of mixed albums for "Global Underground", has come a long way from being an artist from Bristol to becoming one of the most famous and respected DJs and producers of dance music.
Even as a child, Nick began collecting records. After gathering a small collection of vinyl, he started DJing back home in 1988. Members of Massive Attack, appreciating the DJ's capabilities, persuaded him to go on tour with them, during which Warren composed his first tracks for the Flying Records label.
In the mid-90s, Nick Warren and Jody (Wisternoff) organized the exceptionally famous project Way out West. Their partnership can be considered unique, as it is the creativity of two musicians, experienced in different styles of music. By combining elements of these styles, Way out West started releasing very bright tracks, and their album "Blue" contained compositions that had a great impact on the minds and hearts of many talented musicians and set the vector for the future development of progressive music.
Currently, Nick Warren continues his active DJ and production activities, alternating tours with studio work.
Ashley Casselle was first heard by the fashionable public in the early 90s when he appeared as Daydreemer, recording and remixing for labels like Guerilla and Brute. An offer to perform in the "alternative room" at Bedrok gave Ashley a chance to play something from funk, house, and breakbeat, leading to concerts in Sasha, a tour of Digweed's Northern Exposure, and regular appearances at Bedrok over the following years. Then came Berlin and the Sheffield club, as well as tours with Global Soundystem…
Today, Casselle regularly appears in London’s Heaven and The Cross clubs and DJs at his favorite international clubs…
