Official opening of Bonnie & Clyde
Клубные российские · 06.04.2009
On April 10 and 11, the bar "Bonnie and Clyde" officially opens in the building of the Central Telegraph on Tverskaya. It is a joint project of two well-known nightlife personalities in Moscow: Ina Tundra, the founder of "30/7" and "Tundra Bar", and Alexey Karolidis, the owner of Gaudi Club. For the past few weeks, "Bonnie and Clyde" has been operating in test mode exclusively for its own, quickly gaining rumors and transforming into a real attraction in Moscow. The main secret is out - "Bonnie and Clyde" is a spacious venue of a new format designed for a minimum of three hundred guests; a bar for sophisticated people tired of the hustle of large dance floors and the ostentatious glamour of Moscow restaurants. It is a place for a fun and slightly tipsy pastime; a bar where people of similar circles and interests gather. The evening at "Bonnie and Clyde" may start with a respectable cocktail and background music but end with lively dancing on the bar counter. Ina Tundra has accustomed Moscow to starting their evenings in bars, while Alexey Karolidis has amazed Moscow with massive parties featuring the best international DJs. They have divided their roles - Ina has infused the essence of a socialite hostess into the establishment, and Alexey has seamlessly incorporated all the best achievements of the club industry into this purely bourgeois bar story - extraordinary sound, lighting, and smoothly organized operations. They have approached the culinary aspect uniquely as well, even dividing the menu into two parts: Bonnie's menu and Clyde's menu, with the former being light and vegetarian, and the latter being hearty and meaty. And since the venue will be open 24/7, breakfasts at Tverskaya in the telegraph building will soon become the most popular meeting place for those who are tired after Friday night exploring the nightlife. On April 10 and 11, the bar opens officially with a stylized party following the best traditions of the speakeasy era of the American prohibition. The honorary guest of Bonnie and Clyde bar is Nikki Belle, a British singer and model, renowned for her vibrant shows that guarantee a night of continuous dancing once she starts singing. In 2009, her debut album was released. Two months before the premiere, Nikki will perform at the official opening of Bonnie and Clyde, where she will sing all her hits and several new songs. But this is just the official version of the opening - surprises may arise during the event. The true bar gangsters - Bonnie and Clyde - await everyone as guests, with a dress code in the style of 1930s Chicago being mandatory!
